Saints Athletic Hall of Fame
J.D. Emmert was a two-time All-Conference quarterback for the Saints from 2000-2001, and the 2000 Frontier Conference’s MVP. Emmert established no less than 11 school passing records, including career yards (8,384), career completions (715), career attempts (1,094), career touchdowns (58), season yards (3,597), season completions (315), season attempts (498), season touchdowns (25), game yards (388), game completions (31) and game attempts (51). He compiled six 300-yard passing games, and four times he completed 25 or more passes in a game. Emmert, who guided the Saints to two conference titles and two appearances in the NAIA playoff semifinals, still owns five school records.
