Saints Athletic Hall of Fame
Thies was one of the most successful women's basketball players in Carroll history. The Missoula native earned first team All-Frontier Conference and honorable mention All-American honors. She was a member of the first team to play in the NAIA National Tournament her sophomore year. She was known for her knack for hitting big shots. Her best single season came her junior year when she averaged 14.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, one steal while shooting 42 percent from the field, 39 percent from three and 84 percent from the foul line.
