CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) has announced the winners of its weekly Cascade Collegiate Conference Players of the Week for their performances during competition from September 23 – 29, 2024. Two Carroll College student-athletes have been recognized, Delaney Moczan and Felix Billard.

Both the Carroll Men's and Women's Soccer teams are off to great starts in their respective CCC regular seasons. Both teams remain unbeaten in conference play (Men 4-0, Women 3-0-1), and both teams saw terrific offensive performances from their forwards this week.


Men's Soccer – Offensive Player
Carroll College's Felix Billard was named the CCC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, for the second consecutive week.
 
Billard, a sophomore forward from Mallorco, Spain, continued his hot start to league play with a pair 2-0 victories over Multnomah and (RV) Warner Pacific University. This weekend he registered five total shots, three of which were on target, scoring once in each match for a .600 shot on goal percentage.

Billard collects his second-straight CCC player of the Week award, and also spent the week with NAIA National Player of the Week honors as well.

Women's Soccer – Offensive Player
Carroll College's Delaney Moczan was named the CCC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
 
Moczan, a sophomore forward from Las Vegas, Nev., was instrumental in an impressive pair of shutouts this weekend against Multnomah (7-0) and Warner Pacific University (2-0). She recorded 10 total shots, eight of which were on target, scoring three total for a .800 shot on goal percentage.

The Saints' leading scorer sits atop the CCC in shots (41), shots per game (5.12), points (19), points per game (2.38), goals (9), goals per game (1.12), and game-winning goals (3).

The Carroll Soccer teams will make history this weekend, as they host Corban on Friday afternoon ahead of the first-ever games under the lights at the newly-renovated Valley Bank Field at Nelson Stadium against Bushnell on Saturday evening.
