SALEM, Ore. - After battling through injuries and adversity in the early portion of the 2025 season, the Carroll Women's Soccer team ended their regular season with a 3-0 win over Corban to carry momentum into the CCC Championship later this month.

The Fighting Saints (7-4-5, 5-4-3) wasted absolutely no time jumping out to a lead in their final road game of the year, as Sydney Coulter (Colorado Springs, Colo. / SR) scored her first goal of the season just 45 seconds into the match. 

The senior wasn't done there, however, as she would double down on her impressive day with a second goal in the 53rd minute that put the game well out of reach for the Warriors.

Saturday's match was slanted heavily in favor of the Saints offensively, who outshot Corban 33-6 in the contest, with a season-high 20 shots on goal.

Hayley Smith (Woods Cross, Utah / JR) scored the other of Carroll three goals, netting her fifth goal of the year with just five minutes remaining in the first half.

While not forced into nearly the amount of action that the Warrior keeper was, Maria Ackerman (Billings, Mont. / JR) tallied three saves in her clean sheet win.

The Saints will now wait to find out their exact seeding in the upcoming CCC tournament later this evening.
