HELENA, Mont. – The 14th-ranked Carroll College men's basketball team tallied a 14-0 run in the first half and never looked back as they rolled to a 78-56 win over the University of Great Falls Friday and extended their perfect home record to 9-0.
The Saints and Argos started the game gridlocked battling to a 14-14 tie with 10:13 remaining in the first half.

Match Burnham for a 3-pointer that sparked a 14-0 run to give the Saints a 28-14 lead with 5:48 remaining in the first.
Great Falls cut the score to 30-24 after a basket by Michael Harris with 3:03 left in the first half. Carroll responded with a 14-4 run to end the half and took a 44-28 lead into the break.
The Saints kept the pressure on after half and began the second frame with a 13-4. An
Oliver Carr basket gave the Saints with 6:27 remaining gave the Saints a 70-39 lead, the largest of the game.
The Argos went on a 10-0 run but it wasn't enough and the Saints cruised to the 22-point win.
Sophomore
Ryan Imhoff led the way for the Saints with 21 points, shooting 9-12 from the floor. Guard
Matt Wyman recorded 12 points, five rebounds and five assists in 28 minutes of action.
Zach Taylor added 11 points for the Saints.
Carroll shot 32-60 (53.3 percent) for the game and dished out 18 assists. The Saint's defense forced 25 turnovers which led to 30 points off of turnovers.
"The guys executed really well." said Cunningham. "They helped each other on defense and then they created opportunities as a result of that."
The Saints improved their record to 15-5 overall and 8-2 in conference. They remained tied for first with Lewis-Clark State in the Frontier.
Carroll plays another conference game Saturday against MSU-Northern. The Lights are 14-7 overall and 3-6 in conference action. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. in the PE Center.
