Biography
As a junior during the 2016-17 season, Oliver Carr averaged 9.5 pts per game and 2.8 rebs, shooting 64.2% from the field and 84.6% from the FT line. Unfortunately, his season was cut short by an ACL tear, which kept him out of Carroll's last eleven games. Still, Carr has established himself as a dynamic force in the Frontier Conference. He has recovered from ACL surgery and is eager to build upon his already super-productive career as a senior. He is also being courted by several dental schools.Â
As a sophomore in 2015-16, Carr averaged 8.9 pts per game, shooting 57.8% from the field, and 1.9 rebs. He also shot 70.9% from the FT line en route to helping Carroll College increase its win total from 19 the year prior to 23, and an appearnce in the NAIA's Elite Eight.
Oliver Carr turned in an eye-popping freshman year, both in hoops and in class. He finished his freshman campaign as the Frontier Conference Freshman-of-the-Year and as one of the nation's leaders in FG%. He avergaed 15.1 pts per game and shot 58% from the field.Â
In high school, the multiyear standout and workhorse for the Bozeman Hawks, averaged 18.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game while shooting a tremendous 60.4% from the field. Oliver was selected as a Montana representative for the annual Montana-Wyoming All-Star Games. During the All-Star weekend Oliver stood out for Team Montana, averaging 27 points and 8 rebounds verse the foes from down south.Â
Carr, a three-time Academic All-State honoree and graduated from BHS with a 3.7 GPA.
