Biography
Heading into his senior year, Ryan Imhoff is coming off a stellar junior season during which he earned All-American honors as well as Academic All-American honors, as a chemistry major. He averaged a team-high 17.4 pts and 6.2 rebs per game. Ryan also led the team in blocks, and was second in steals and in assists. His teammates also chose him as one of two team captains.
As a sophomore, Imhoff averaged 14.0 pts (2nd highest on team) and 6.4 rebs (led the team) per game and earned recognition as one of the Frontier's top players. Ryan led the team in blocks, and was second in steals and assists. He also continued to deliver stellar academic results as a chemistry major.
As a freshman, Imhoff averaged 9.8pts and 4.3rebs per game and earned recognition as one of the Frontier's top newcomers. Ryan led the team in blocks, was second in steals, third in scoring & rebounding, and 2nd in total 3s made. He also did fantastic in the classroom as a chemistry major.
As a prep with the Napa High Indians, Imhoff averaged 18.5 points per game while shooting 48-percent from the field. During his last two seasons at Napa High, he was named to Napa’s All-County Team. In all three seasons on varsity, Imhoff averaged double-figures in scoring and was voted Wine Valley Tournament MVP in 2013. He also shot over 40-percent from the three-point line.
Imhoff excelled in the classroom. He took 12 honors and advanced placement courses and his weighted GPA was a stellar 4.38. The chemistry major has designs to attend medical school.
Coach's Comments: "We’re thrilled to have Ryan at Carroll. He’s had a stellar academic and athletic career thus far and we feel like his best is yet to come. Ryan has such a sweet stroke on his jumper, the grapes in Napa Valley are jealous. He’s a fantastic rebounder and defender, too."
