As a sophomore in 2016-17, Matt Wyman again played a huge roll for the Fighting Saints, helping lead them to Frontier Conference and Tourney championships and to a second straight appearance in the NAIA National Tournament's Elite Eight. He averaged 8.7 pts, 4.7 rebs, and an eye-popping 64.2% from the field. He continues to perform at a high level as a versatile defender, one of the best in the nation. He is also a stellar student with an eye on dental school. 

As a freshman, Matt played a huge role in helping lead Carroll to the NAIA National Tournament's Elite Eight. He started nearly every game and averaged 8 pts, 4 rebs, and shot 58% from the field. His versatility on defense helped make him one of the best defenders in the nation.

High School: As a senior, Great Falls HS Valedictorian Matt Wyman excelled on the hardwood. Wyman was named to the Montana-Wyoming team after averaging 13.4 points per game and a state-leading 4.7 assists. His senior year he was selected to the First Team All State, First Team All Conference, the AA State All-tournament Team, and the Great Falls Tribune's Super State Team. 

He was a First Team All Conference selection during his junior season, and was twice named the Great Falls Tribune Athlete of the Week. He scored 15.2 points per game, 4.0 assists per game as a junior and was 51 percent from the field. Academically Wyman is stellar. He had an unweighted 4.0 GPA in HS with high test scores. He received the Student Recognition Award and was named the World Languages Student of the Year.
