HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Women's Basketball team will return to the court this afternoon as they play host to the College of Idaho at the PE Center at 2 p.m.
The Fighting Saints (3-3) will look to pick up their third-consecutive win to end the month of November, and the Yotes (1-3) are the only team standing in their way.
Following a pair of losses in Lewiston, Idaho a couple of weeks ago, the Saints took a sharp drop in the NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches' Poll this week. Carroll fell 12 spots, now appearing at No. 21 in the nation.
The Saints are winners of their last two games, however, and will look to continue building momentum headed into a busy month of December.
In their last game against Bushnell, a pair of preseason All-Conference selections made their presence felt in a big way.
Willa Albrecht (Billings, Mont. / R-JR) and
Kyndall Keller (Havre, Mont. / R-SR) combined for 51 points in the lopsided win, including a stellar 30-point performance from Albrecht.
Albrecht has 50 points in her last two games, having also put up a game-high 20 points in Carroll's win over Embry-Riddle last week.
College of Idaho led No. 6 Providence for the majority of the first half in yesterday's game one of the Thanksgiving Classic in Helena, but faltered down the stretch. The Yotes have lost to a pair of Frontier schools on the year, Providence yesterday and Rocky Mountain College earlier this month.
Tip-off for Saturday's matinee is slated for 2 p.m., and a live stream can be found on the Fighting Saints Network
