HELENA, Mont. - The No. 24-ranked Carroll Women's Basketball team are set for one of their favorite days of the year, hosting their annual Champions of Character Field Trip Game - presented by Delta Dental, this afternoon at 12 p.m. inside the PE Center.

For the first time, the Fighting Saints (4-0) will play the Champions of Character game as an exhibition, welcoming in NCAA Division II MSU Billings (1-2).

The Saints and Yellowjackets are no strangers, having played three times in the five years. Carroll owns two wins in that time, but the Jackets enter the game with the latest win in the series. The Jackets picked up a tight three-point victory in the season opener for both teams last year in Billings.

MSU Billings has already played a pair of Frontier schools to this point in the season, picking up an exhibition win over Rocky Mountain College and a countable victory over Montana Tech.

While the Saints are off to one of their best starts in recent history, Friday's exhibition results will not count towards their record regardless of the outcome.

Over 2,200 local area elementary and middle school students will pack ino the PE Center this afternoon for the loudest game of the year. Students from Kessler, Rossiter, Four Georgians, Jefferson, C.R. Anderson, Helena Middle School, and East Valley Middle School will all be bring the energy to the Hilltop.

Sponsored by Delta Dental, the Champions of Character Field trip game is a chance for Carroll Women's Basketball to recognize the next generation of leaders. Several Individuals from each school in attendance, hand selected by their teachers and administrators, will be recognized for their demonstration of the five core character values the NAIA embraces - Respect, Integrity, Responsibility, Servant Leadership, and Sportsmanship.

Because both sides are playing the game as an exhibition, no live stats will be available, however, a live stream can still be found HERE.
