CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2024 Cascade Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer postseason awards were announced conference office this past weekend. Carroll College had four players earn All-Conference honors, with all four landing on the First Team.
CCC First Team All-Conference
Goalkeeper -
Maria Ackerman (Billings, Mont. / SO)
For the second straight season, Ackerman was named First Team All-Conference in between the pipes. The sophomore keeper made history earlier this season, becoming the first player in program history to earn NAIA National Player of the Week honors. Ackerman finished her season with a goals against average of 1.01, tallying 81 total saves for a season-long save percentage of .818 and nine shutouts.
Midfielder -
Emily Funseth (Great Falls, Mont. / GR)
Funseth caps one of the most impressive careers in program history with a First Team All-Conference selection. In 19 games played, the captain finished with 18 total points, including six goals and six assists. Her six assists were tied for the team lead, while the six goals were tied for second most on the team this season. She finishes her career inside the all-time top-10 in program history for goals scored (16), and is that all-team leading scorer for any midfielder in program history.
Defender -
Avery Lambourne (Billings, Mont. / SO)
Like Ackerman, Lambourne has been as impressive as any in the league over the past two seasons. She grabs her second All-Conference selection in as many seasons, anchoring a Carroll defensive unit that held opposing teams to just 1.0 goals per game, and 9.9 shots per game. Lambourne's steady presence in the middle of the backfield helped keep the Saints on schedule, and the sophomore scored one goal this season as well.
Forward -
Delaney Moczan (Las, Vegas, Nev. / SO)
A reasonable case could be made that Moczan was snubbed of the CCC Offensive Player of the Year award, as the sophomore forward led the entire league in points (33), shots (81), points per game (1.82), goals (14), and goals per game (.82). The sophomore striker has wasted little time establishing herself as one of the top scoring threats in the conference, and through two seasons is already inside the program's all-time top-10 for goals scored (20).
