KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Caleb Hoxie of Carroll College nabbed the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors. Hoxie was selected based on his performances from October 14 - 20 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Caleb Hoxie, Carroll - GR - Midfielder - Helena, Mont.

• Helped guide Carroll to a pair of road wins, scoring two goals and dishing out an assist
• Netted an insurance goal in a 3-1 win over No. 24 Southern Oregon
• Tallied a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win at Oregon Tech

Hoxie, who has been sidelined with injury for much of the season, made his impact felt in a big way in just his fifth and sixth games of the season this past week.

The Captain provided a clutch insurance goal in Carroll's win over No. 24 Southern Oregon that moved them to the top of the Cascade Collegiate Conference table, before scoring and assisting on Carroll's two goals over Oregon Tech.

Hoxie's national honor gives the Fighting Saints two NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors on the season, a feat never done in the 10-year history of the program. He joins Felix Billard (Mallorca, Spain / SO), who was honored in week five (September 24).

Hoxie also becomes the fourth Carroll student-athlete to earn a weekly national distinction this season (Billard - MSOC, Maria Ackerman - WSOC, Hunter Peck - FB), and the second Fighting Saint to earn an honor on the week (Peck - FB).

Currently leading the CCC, the Carroll Men will begin a three-game homestand to end the 2024 regular season on Friday afternoon against Northwest (Wash.) as they look to secure the first ever conference title in program history.
