GREAT FALLS, Mont. - The No. 11 Carroll College Women's Basketball team begins postseason play this morning at 11 a.m., taking on Providence in the semifinals of the 2023 Frontier Conference Tournament in Great Falls.

The Fighting Saints (23-5, 14-1) have one goal in mind as the Calendar nears a flip to March, win the Frontier Conference tournament. They start that process this morning with a semifinal matchup against the University of Providence (15-13, 5-10).

Today's game marks the second consecutive year that the teams have matched up in the semifinal round. Last season, Carroll picked up a 63-51 win over the Argonauts to advance to the Frontier title game.

This season, the two schools have squared off four times, with Carroll winning each game. The Saints have won by double-digits in each of the first three games, with the closest contest being a 12-point win, taking place on January 28 in Helena.

The Frontier Conference statistical leader board is littered with Saints. Jamie Pickens (Helena, Mont. / SR) is second in the league in scoring (16.8 ppg) and rebounding (7.1 rpg) while also sitting fourth in field goal percentage (54). Kyndall Keller (Havre, Mont. / JR) sits atop the conference three point percentage list (43.4 percent) with Sienna Swannack (Nine Mile Falls, Wash. / GR) in fifth (36 percent).

Providence's Reed Hazard is fifth in the conference in points per game (12.6) and Maddy Dixon enters the game as the third best rebounder in the league (7 rpg).
