Just like Sunday's win over Jamestown, Carroll started the game out hot. The Saints went 9-14 from the field, and held the Warriors to just eight points to grab an early 22-8 lead after one.

Fortunes would flip in the second quarter, however, and the Warriors would storm back into contention as the Saints shot just 25 percent from the field as a team. Addi Ekstrom (Bozeman, Mont. / JR) hit a three with just seconds remaining to give Carroll a five point lead, but a half court heave at the horn would drop for Indiana Tech's Taylor Covington to make things 32-30 heading into the break.

The cold shooting would continue for the Saints in the second half, and Carroll would finish the game shooting just 37 percent in total from the field.

Erika Foy scored eight points in the third, and Indiana Tech would carry a 47-44 lead into the final frame.

Five times the teams would tie, and four different times would they exchange a lead in a tightly-contested fourth quarter.

Indiana Tech's Covington would again hit a big shot near the end of the period to put the Warriors on top for good. After an additional pair of free throws, Maddie Geritz (Boise, Idaho / GR) had a chance to tie the game at the buzzer, but her deep three went just long and the Warriors would win the top-25 matchup, 62-59.

Gertiz led the Saints with a 14 point, six rebound performance, while Willa Albrecht (Billings, Mont. / R-JR) and Ekstrom each scored 13.

The Warriors were led by Covington's game-high 19 points.

Carroll will play one more game on the Island before heading back to Helena for the Holidays. The Saints will take on host-school, NCAA Division II Hawaii Pacific in an exhibition contest tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. MST.
