HELENA, Mont. - The No. 18 Carroll College Women's Basketball team is back at the Carroll College PE Center for their second game of the week, hosting MSU-Northern at 2 p.m.
The Fighting Saints (13-5, 4-1) roll in to today's on the heels of a blowout victory over Providence on Thursday evening. Their opponents, MSU-Northern (7-11, 0-5), are coming off of a 57-64 loss at Montana Tech earlier in the week.
The Skylights have yet to win a Frontier Conference game this season, but they are certainly not a team that Head Coach Rachelle Sayers and her Saints are overlooking. The Skylights have one of the league's best scorers in Briaunna McCullough (14.1 ppg), as well as a pair of the best rebounders in the conference, McCullough (6.7 rpg) and Shyan Krass (6.9 rpg).
Carroll's
Kyndall Keller (Havre, Mont. / JR) had a terrific outing on Thursday against Providence in the absence of
Kamden Hilborn (Clancy, Mont. / GR) who was out due to injury. Keller scored a game-high 15 points and will look to carry that momentum into today's game against her hometown school.
The Saints have won the previous 11 meetings between the two schools, dating back to 2020.
Today's game will be streamed live on the
Fighting Saints Network: presented by Point S Tire & Auto Service, and live stats can be found
