HELENA, Mont. - The No. 18 Carroll Women's Basketball team is back at the Carroll College PE Center for their first Frontier Conference home game in over a month, hosting Providence tonight at 5 p.m. in Helena.

The Fighting Saints (12-5, 3-1) enter tonight's contest coming off of a loss at now-ranked No. 20 Rocky Mountain College on Saturday in Billings. Carroll will look to get a bounce-back win tonight over a Providence (11-6, 1-3) team that has struggled in Frontier play to start the year.

Both teams will be heavily motivated to get a win tonight, with Carroll looking to move past their first conference loss of the year, and Providence looking to stop a two-game skid and stay within striking distance in the conference standings.

Each school has faced the tough task of replacing impact seniors from 2021-22, with numerous All-Conference players on each side of the floor making their departure. 

The two schools have battled in recent years, with each team securing their share of victories. Carroll holds a 6-4 advantage over the previous 10 matchups between the schools.

Tonight's game will feature two conference statistical leaders. Carroll's Jamie Pickens (Helena, Mont. / SR) is second in the Frontier in points per game (15.4), while Providence's Maddy Dixon is currently second in the conference in rebounds per game (8.1).
