HELENA, Mont. – The Carroll Women's Basketball team will host MSU-Northern on Thursday evening at the PE Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m.
The Saints are coming off of arguably their biggest win of the season on Saturday, defeating Providence 60-45 in Helena behind a staunch defensive effort and a widespread scoring attack.
Carroll, currently ranked seventh in the NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches Poll, is one game behind No. 16 Providence and No. 18 Rocky Mountain College in the Frontier Conference standings. The Saints are 7-3 in conference play with five games remaining, while Providence and Rocky are both 8-2.
MSU-Northern is currently at the bottom of the Frontier Conference table, going 1-9 so far against conference foes. The Skylights are coming off of their first conference win of the season, beating Montana Tech 70-63 in Butte last Saturday.
These two teams have squared off twice this season already, with Carroll winning both of these matchups. The Saints won in the conference opener 82-40, before going up to Havre on January 15 60-34.
