HELENA, Mont. – Wednesday marks a big day for Carroll College Women's Basketball as the final NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches' Poll dropped ahead of the Saints' Frontier Conference Tournament quarterfinal bout with sixth-seeded MSU-Northern tonight. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the PE Center.
 
The Saints enter the conference tournament ranked 11^th in the nation and as the No. 3 seed in the Frontier. They wrapped up regular season play last week with an overall record of 23-6 and a conference record of 11-4.
 
In their last game of the regular season, Carroll suffered a tight 93-92 double-overtime loss to Providence in Great Falls. Now they look ahead to a fresh slate of postseason games to come.
 
MSU-Northern finished the year with a 9-20 record, going 2-13 in conference games. They are entering the tournament off of a 55-51 win at Montana Tech last Thursday night.
 
The season series between these two teams has been one-sided with Carroll taking all three meetings by a combined margin of 89 points.
