BILLINGS, Mont. – The Carroll Women's Basketball team hits the road again on Thursday night for a conference bout against Rocky Mountain College at 5 p.m.
The latest edition of the NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches Poll came out on Wednesday morning and both the Saints (No. 7) and the Bears (No. 18) remain ranked in the top 25.
Last Saturday, the Saints extended their winning streak to three games with a road win at Montana Tech. In that game, senior guard
Danielle Wagner lit it up for 26 points to help her team toward a 64-57 victory.
Carroll holds an overall record of 18-4 and a 6-2 conference record with a chance to make a move up the Frontier Conference table this week. They will face off with Rocky and Providence, two teams that possess 7-1 conference records entering the week.
The Battlin' Bears are 18-2 overall this year, and are coming off of a week where they traveled to Montana Tech and MSU-Northern for two solid road victories. Their only losses on the season have come at the hands of Lewis-Clark State and Providence.
