HELENA, Mont. Carroll Women's Soccer announced four signees on Monday for National Signing Day as Molly Molvig, Jaymee Sheridan, Sierra Branstetter, and Kacy Clements have all made the decision to don the purple and gold.
"The coaching staff is very excited to announce our first batch of recruits for the 2021 fall season," said Head Coach
David Thorvilson. This initial class for Coach Thorvilson includes two defenders, a defensive midfielder, and an attacking midfielder. Thorvilson feels good about the skill sets that these signees possess on the pitch, saying, "Molvig and Branstetter are strong outside backs that have been battling it out at the high school level for the last four years, Clements is a defensive minded player that can sit centrally for us, and Sheridan is our lone attacking minded player in this group."
This year, despite so many things being different, one thing remained the same for Carroll Women's Soccer. The Saints once again brought in new talent from the state of Montana. This has been a constant for Coach Thorvilson since he took over as head coach in 2007 and now he adds three more Montanans to the list. Thorvilson added, "We have three great players from the great State of Montana and a recognizable name from Colorado."
Without further ado, meet the new Fighting Saints:

Kacy Clements / Nederland, CO / Holy Family HS / Defense / 5'4"
Despite her junior and senior seasons being postponed due to COVID, Clements still managed to put together an outstanding prep career before ultimately deciding to join the family business and become a Saint. In 2019, Clements was also selected to the BOCO Preps all-region first team. On the club pitch, Clements played for FC Boulder for seven years, where she became a U.S. Club regional champion and state cup finalist in 2018.
