Four Carroll Women's Soccer players recognized by Cascade Conference

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference announced its 2021 Women's Soccer all-conference teams on Wednesday evening.
 
The Carroll Women's soccer team had four players recognized. Senior defender Katie Anderson and junior midfielder Kody Clements were voted second team all-CCC. Junior forward and junior goalkeeper Sarah Conway received honorable mention all-conference honors.
 
Katie Anderson, a senior from Spokane, Wash., has been a staple on the back line for the Saints in her four years with the program. In her senior season, Anderson contributed to five clean sheets and scored one goal. She started in all 15 games this season.
 
Kody Clements, a junior from Nederland, Colo., provided a steady hand in the midfield for the Saints this season. Clements scored four goals and added two assists in her junior campaign and started in 14 of the team's 15 game this season.
 
Blair Stapleton, a junior from Billings, Mont., served as the Saints' leading attacker this season. Starting in 10 games, she scored a team-high six goals. 38.1 percent of Stapleton's shots taken this season were on target as well.
 
Sarah Conway, a junior goalkeeper from Belt, Mont., put on a show in her first season as the Saints' starting keeper. Conway started all 15 games and tallied five clean sheets and 72 total saves. She also posted an average of 1.26 goals against and a save percentage of .791.
