HELENA, Mont. -- The No.18-ranked Carroll College Fighting Saints women's basketball team will take on the University of Providence at home on Thursday.

The Fighting Saints (19-9, 11-5 Frontier Conference) have won both of their last two games beating Montana Tech 71-52 and Lewis Clark State 71-63, and have won the past five of six.

Carroll is led in scoring by Dani Wagner's 13.8 points per game, Christine Denny's 6.5 rebounds per game and Kamden Hilborn's 3.3 assists per game.

The Argos (17-11, 8-8) in their last two have beaten Montana Western 70-41 and Rocky Mountain College 85-65. UP is led in scoring by Parker Esary's 14.5 points per game.

The Saints are currently tied for first place in the conference standings with a record of 11-5. With a pair of wins this week, the Saints would ensure at least a share of the Frontier Conference regular season championship.

In their first two meetings this season Carroll has come out on top, winning 64-58 in Helena and 64-62 in Great Falls. A win for the Saints on Thursday will complete the season sweep of the Argos.

This game will be the first of a two home game stand to close out the regular season.

The game will be at the PE Center at 5:30 p.m.

For those who cannot be in attendance, live streams of most games can be found via the Carroll Athletics YouTube page. Fans can also hear the game on Rewind 94.9, called by Carroll College Saints play-by-play talent Daniel Salle and Hall of Fame coach Gary Turcott. The game can also be tracked via DakStats.
