HELENA, Mont. -- Rory Bloy recorded a hat trick as the Carroll College men's soccer team defeated Multnomah 6-1 on Saturday in Portland, Oregon.

"We came out strong today and put in a good showing," Saints coach Doug Mello said. "All players put in the effort and after a tough loss yesterday deserved the positive result."

The Saints struck twice in the first two minutes, led by Bloy and then Paolo Georgiades, who both scored in the second minute.

Bloy added another goal in the eighth minute off assists by Dade McDevitt and Georgiades.

Keegan Lyons got involved in the scoring action in the 11th minute.

In the 12th minute, Santiago Morazzani took an assist from Ben Dagg and finished the Saints' fifth consecutive goal.

Carroll held Multnomah scoreless until the 51st minute when Jose De La Torre scored.

The Saints would get the last laugh when Bloy got his third and final goal of the game.

Carroll (6-7-1, 5-5 Cascade Collegiate Conference) split on its road trip 1-1. Next week, the Saints face Walla Walla and Rocky Mountain College in Helena.
