Carroll Women Host Tech for Annual Pink Game

HELENA, Mont. - The 13th-ranked Carroll College women hosts Montana Tech Wednesday in the annual pink game and silent night to promote breast cancer awareness and honor victims of the disease.

The game is another high-stakes Frontier Conference matchup.

The No. 13 Saints are 7-3 in Frontier play and tied with Rocky Mountain for the top spot in the league. Montana Tech is 3-8 in conference but would love to take Carroll out of the lead and gain some momentum as the Frontier enters the third round of games.

Carroll won both previous games this season, both at Butte. The Saints won 63-55 on Jan. 11, and 65-49 on Jan. 25.

Hannah Dean leads Carroll in point, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks.

Shay Potter tops the Diggers in points and rebounds.

The Saints will wear pink jerseys for the game and fans are encouraged to wear pink as well. St. Peter's hospital staff with present information on women's health and breast cancer awareness.

We are asking fans from both schools to remain silent for the first minute of the game to honor victims of this devastating disease.

Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
