HELENA, Mont. – The tenth-ranked Carroll College women's basketball plays host to a pair of ranked teams Friday against the No. 25 University of Great Falls Argos and Saturday against the 15th-ranked MSU-Northern Saturday.
The Saints are 16-3 on the season and 6-3 in Frontier Conference play after a 71-65 double overtime road setback against Lewis-Clark State.
Cassidy Hashley leads the Saints with 12.63 points and 7.74 rebounds per game.
Carroll looks to avenge one of their few losses Friday against the Argos. Carroll fell 67-64 to the Argos in Great Falls on Jan. 9. Hashley scored a career-high 29 points in the loss but the Argos were 26 of 53 (49.1 percent) from the field and Stephanie McDonagh scored 20 points to lead the way for UGF.
The Argos have won four-straight and climbed into the top 25 in this week's poll. Thursday night in Great Falls, the Argos rolled to a 60-45 win over MSUN.
Nneka Nnadi leads the Argos with 16.95 points per game, including the 22 points she scored Thursday night.
Saturday, the Saints take on the Skylights in Helena. After rising all the way to No. 2 in the NAIA Poll, MSUN is 3-3 in its last six games. The first of the stretch was a 55-49 loss to the Saints on Jan. 8.
Natalee Faupel continues to impress with 15.47 points per game. Sierra Richards leads the Skylights with 6.29 rebounds per game.
Both games are scheduled to tipoff at 5:30 p.m. at the PE Center.
