"I was much happier with our effort and fight tonight," head coach
Rachelle Sayers said. "Idaho is a very good team and shoots the ball as well as anyone in the country. They spread you out so much and really find the open player. I thought we did some nice things on both ends and we are looking forward to building on those for conference. Nobody likes to lose and we definitely aren't satisfied with the results but it is the process that we are most concerned with and getting better every day."
The game was the last non-conference game for the 12-1 Saints. Carroll resumes Frontier play on Jan. 8 when the Saints face MSU-Northern in Havre before facing the University of Great Falls on Jan. 9 in the Electric City.Â
