HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll Volleyball team will hit the road one final time in the 2024 regular season, heading to Billings for a battle with Rocky Mountain College at 7 p.m. inside the Fortin Education Center.
The Fighting Saints (16-11, 4-9) will look to close out the season strong, starting with one last road test against the Battlin' Bears (13-16, 3-10).
A win in tonight's match would lock up the No. 4-seed for the Fighting Saints in the upcoming Frontier Conference Championship, while a loss could potentially put Carroll into a spot where they could end up as low as the sixth-seed.
The Saints and Bears have split the season series to this point, with Rocky earning a four-set win the last time the teams met in Billings, and Carroll earning a five-set win in Helena last month.
Carroll has struggled in true road games this season, entering the week with only one true road win, while Rocky boasts a marginal 3-6 home record on the year.
Tonight's match features two of the best defensive specialists in the NAIA, with Carroll's NAIA digs per set leader (6.89) and the nation's No. 2 total digs leader (730)
Julia Carr (Portland, Ore. / GR), and the No. 3 total dig leader from Rocky, Brooke Ark.
