HELENA, Mont. - Carroll College has been announced as one of 16 NAIA Women's Basketball Championship opening round host pods. Carroll, and the Helena community as a whole, will welcome three teams to the PE Center on March 7 and 8 for the first and second rounds of the NAIA Women's Basketball Championship presented by Ballogy.

For the second straight year, Carroll College will host an opening round pod. Last season, the Carroll Men were selected to host, and now it is the Carroll Women who have been chosen for the opportunity.

The pod will consist of four teams, including the No. 11 Fighting Saints. The participating schools will be announced Thursday, March 2 at 5 p.m. MST during the 2023 NAIA Women's Basketball Selection Show, which will air on all NAIA social media channels and the NAIA YouTube page. The Carroll Women's basketball team will have a viewing party for the NAIA Selection Show in the third-floor team room at the Carroll PE Center. Family, friends, and Carroll supporters are welcome to attend.

Tuesday evening, March 7, will feature two games, one at 5 p.m. MST and another at 7 p.m. MST. Carroll will play in the 7 p.m. time slot.

The winners of the Tuesday contests will play on Wednesday, March 8 with the winner advancing to Sioux City, Iowa for the round of 16 and beyond.

Ticket prices for Tuesday's double-header are as follows:
Reserved Seats: $20
Adult General Admission: $15
Students (K-12): $10
*Tuesday prices include admission for both games

Ticket prices for Wednesday's Pod Championship game are as follows:
Reserved Seats: $18
Adult General Admission: $12
Students (K-12): $10

Carroll College season ticket holders have been sent a code via e-mail with first right of refusal for their reserved seats. Season ticket holders will have until Friday, March 3 at 11 a.m. to purchase their reserved seats.

Ticket sales will be made available to the general public at 12 p.m. MST through the Carroll Athletics ticket office. Tickets must be purchased online at www.carrollathletics.com/tickets, and all sales will be final.
