Carroll Volleyball Picked to Finish Third in Preseason Frontier Coaches' Poll

WHITEFISH, Mont.  — The Frontier Conference announced their 2022 preseason coaches' poll today. Carroll college polled as third, behind Montana Tech and University of Providence. University of Providence is the defending conference tournament and regular season champion.

 

Providence and Montana Tech each received three first-place votes but the Argos

edged Montana Tech by one point as the coaches' favorite.

 

Carroll College finished third in the poll followed by Rocky Mountain College,

Montana Western and MSU-Northern.

 

Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams. First place was worth five

points, a second place vote is worth four points, a third place vote is worth three

points, a fourth place vote is worth two points and a fifth place vote is worth one

Point.

The Carroll Volleyball Team started their first practice of the year this morning in preparation for the 2022 season. The team's first game is August 19 against Vanguard University (Calf.) as part of the Big Sky Challenge in Butte, Mont.
