WHITEFISH, Mont. – The Frontier Conference announced its 2021 Frontier Conference All-Conference volleyball team, the All-Freshman team, individual award winners, and champions of character.
Following a second-place finish at the Frontier Conference Tournament, the Carroll Volleyball team was represented by three players in
Taelyr Krantz,
Julia Carr, and
Elizabeth Heuiser.
Taelyr Krantz, a senior middle-hitter from Helena, Mont., was named first team all-conference for the third straight season. Krantz was a force at the net this season for the Fighting Saints, leading the team with 347 kills and 123 blocks.
Julia Carr, a sophomore libero from Portland, Ore., was named first-team all-conference in addition to being voted as Carroll's Champion of Character. These two accomplishments are a testament to Carr's leadership on and off the court. She led the Saints with 642 digs.
Elizabeth Heuiser, a freshman middle-hitter from Helena, Mont., was voted second team all-conference and Frontier Conference Freshman of the Year. Heuiser started out her college career with a bang, totaling an impressive 198 kills and seven blocks.
