HELENA, Mont. – The 10th ranked Carroll College men's basketball team travels to Montana Tech Thursday before hosting Rocky Mountain Saturday at the PE Center. 

The Carroll college men are tied for second in the Frontier Conference at 17-3 overall and 5-3 in league. Montana Tech comes into the week at 9-10 overall and 1-7 in Frontier play. Rocky Mountain is 12-7 overall, but 4-4 in league with three of their four league wins coming against the three top teams in the conference Lewis-Clark, Carroll and Montana Western.

Carroll defeated rode a strong defensive performance to a 56-41 win in the first matchup over Montana Tech. Carroll fell to Rocky 59-54 after a disappointing offensive game. 

Ryan Imhoff leads Carroll with 20.4 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. He also has the team high marks in assist, steals and blocks. In conference games, he has 20.6 PPG and 9.1 RPG. He has four straight double-doubles coming into this weekend.

Match Burnham is second on the team with 14.3 PPG, and Matt Wyman averages 13.5 PPG.

The Saints are the top team in NAIA DI in field goal percentage and free throw percentage. They are second in total steals and are in the top 10 in three-point field goal percentage, rebound defense, scoring defense and blocks.

Montana Tech has dropped four of their last five games. John Chapman leads the Diggers at 12.2 PPG, but the Saints held him to just two points on 1-7 shooting in the first matchup. Trent Molesworth and Chris O'Neill tallied double figures in the first game.

The Battlin' Bears are having an up and down season, but have won three of the last four games behind the strong play of University of Montana transfer Jared Samuelson. The sophomore notched 23 points and 11 rebounds in the win against Carroll on Jan. 9.
