HELENA, Mont. – Fourth-ranked Carroll College men's basketball plays three games on the road in California beginning with a neutral site match against Bethesda College before playing true road games against Vanguard University and Westcliff University.
The Saints enter the week with a 9-0 record, and a 2-0 mark in Frontier Conference play. Carroll is the top team in NAIA DI in field goal percentage and free throw percentage.
Ryan Imhoff leads Carroll in scoring (19.9 PPG), rebounds (5.9 RPG), assists (4.6 APG), steals (3.0 SPG) and blocks (1.1 BPG).
Matt Wyman (17.6 PPG) and
Match Burnham (15.7 PPG) also average double figures.
The Saints open the week against Bethesda. The Flames are 4-9 on the season but also have played eight exhibition games on the year, including a 98-61 loss to Montana State in Bozeman.
Ammar Rehman leads Bethesda with 13.2 PPG, and three other Flames players average double figures.
The toughest game of the week awaits the Saints on Wednesday against No. 22 Vanguard University who is 9-2 on the season with their only losses coming against Cal State San Bernardino and the College of Idaho.
The Lions are averaging 84.7 points per game while giving up just 70.6 points per game. Three players average double figures with Shacquille Dawkins leading the way with 17.3 PPG.
The Saints play their final game of the week on Thursday against first-year program Westcliff. The Warriors are 2-16 on the season with wins over ULA College of Divinity and Southwestern Assemblies of God.
Vincent Head III leads the Warriors with 16.9 points per game.
