Helena, Mont. – Carroll College Track & Field had a tremendous weekend at the Whitworth Peace Meet on Friday in Spokane, Wash. and the Fighting Saints Open home at Vigilante Stadium on Friday and Saturday.

For Friday afternoon's meet in Spokane, Wash., Zack Gacnik hit the NAIA National Qualifying B Standard in the 10k, running only one second off of his personal record despite leading the entire race in fairly warm conditions. He is currently ranked 6th in the NAIA. Ben Wallace ran a personal best in the 10k by over one minute, moving into 8th on Carroll's Top 10 Lists. Ali Cunningham debuted in the 10,000m and immediately placed herself in 9th on Carroll's lists.

Oliver Morris and Luke Decker both ran personal records in the event and now rank 8th and 14th respectively in the nation. Madalen Shipman debuted in the 1500m at the Peace Meet. She ran a stellar time that puts her 16th in the NAIA and 4th All-Time at Carroll.

In Helena, Carroll's multi-event athletes had a strong meet. Tucker Monaco set a personal best, winning the event. His efforts place him 1st in the NAIA, and his Pole Vault jump within the Decathlon achieved the NAIA B Standard, also qualifying him for the individual event. Carson Krack made a successful Decathlon debut, putting him 5th at Carroll All-Time and 7th currently in the NAIA. Katelyn Christensen set a lifetime best in the Heptathlon, also moving to 5th at Carroll and 13th in the nation this year for NAIA. Anna Hume completed her first Heptathlon ever.

In individual events for the men, there were multiple personal records on Saturday. This included Randon Richman (200m), Treyton Graham (400m), Daniel Koralewski (1500m), Wyatt Ehredt (1500m), Hunter Gum (Discus), Abraham Montalvo (Shot Put), and Landen Conner (Javelin). Graham's 400m puts him 5th All-Time at Carroll, Montalvo's Javelin puts him 10th, and Gum's Discus moves him into 4th. Jackson Swanz ran the 400m Hurdles and Jack Jensen the 1500m for the first time, both clocking great starting times.
