Why Did You Choose Carroll College?
One can perceive that I did not choose; Carroll College chose me. However, in all seriousness, I chose Carroll for three primary reasons.
First, the proximity of the campus to my home is ideal for my character. The two-and-a-half-hour commute offers ample independence but also allows me to return home on weekends if I must.
Second, Carroll’s private, Catholic-affiliated campus hopefully offers me a more productive, safer, and overall healthier environment than many public campuses across the nation.
Lastly, Carroll’s pre-medicine program’s reputation precedes itself wonderfully. No other private college of Carroll’s relatively diminutive size and stature can boast such a spectacular 85% acceptance rate into some of the nation’s most excellent medical schools. That statistic compliments my pre-medicine aspirations remarkably well.
