DICKINSON, N.D. - Both the Carroll College Cheer and Dance teams competed well at their inaugural event in their respective programs' histories at the Dickinson State Traingular on Saturday.

The Carroll Dance team competed one-on-one with Northwestern (Iowa) in their debut, as host school Dickinson State doesn't sponsor a competitive dance team, ultimately falling to the Red Raiders 64.25 - 53.9.

On the Cheer side of the action, the Fighting Saints competed head-to-head with both the Blue Hawks and Red Raiders in two separate events. Carroll Fell to Northwestern 77.7-58.1 to start the day, before falling to Dickinson State in the late matchup.
