HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Athletic Department is now accepting all applications for both the Head Cheer Coach and Head Dance Coach Positions.

Both competitive cheer and dance were announced as two emerging sports that the Carroll College athletic department will sponsor starting in the 2024 academic year.

The Competitive Dance and Cheer programs are both NAIA-sponsored sports featuring a championship series. With the aim to establish teams of 24 athletes each within three years, Carroll College is looking forward to making a mark in these highly engaging and competitive arenas.

Both Cheer and Dance teams have the goal to compete in three NAIA-sanctioned events in their inaugural year and four in the following year, fulfilling the requirement for postseason competition eligibility. The college is also excited to host its own Cheer and Dance Competition in year two, further establishing its presence in the sport.
