HELENA, Mont. - Homecoming weekend 2024 is here, and nearly every Carroll program will play a home contest over the next three days. Friday afternoon features three key conference matchups, as the Men's and Women's Soccer teams begin conference play against in-state rival Rocky Mountain College, while the Volleyball team hosts No. 13 Montana Western in the night cap. Following the Volleyball game, a Homecoming Pep Rally will take place between the Huntausen Activity Center and the Carroll College PE Center.
SOCCER:
Another Cascade Collegiate Conference season is here for the Carroll Men (1-1-2) and Women (2-1-2). The Fighting Saints will kick off their regular seasons with an in-state showdown against the Battlin' Bears (Men 1-2, Women 2-1).
Each double-header this Fall will see the Women take the field in the early game, with the Men following.
The Carroll Women were picked to finish No. 3 in the Preseason CCC Coaches' Poll, and began the season in the receiving votes portion of the NAIA National Coaches' Poll. After an up-and-down non-conference portion of their schedule, the Saints are ready to make a run for their first CCC title since the 2018 season.
Goalkeeper
Maria Ackerman (Billings, Mont. / SO) was named the program's first ever NAIA National Player of the Week earlier in the season, and the 2023 First Team All-CCC performer will look for a shutout against her hometown team this afternoon.
Delaney Moczan (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho / SO) enters conference play at-or-near the top of many offensive statistical categories. Her four goals are currently No. 3 in the CCC.
First touch in the Women's match will take place at 1 p.m.

The Carroll Men enter conference play on the heels of a successful California swing last weekend.
The Saints picked up their first win of the season in a 4-0 drubbing of Life Pacific, before playing a tough Westcliff side to a 0-0 draw on Sunday.
For his efforts in net, goalkeeper Juan Muniz Navarette (Hermiston, Ore. / JR) was named CCC Defensive Player of the Week. The 2023 All-Conference keeper put up a pair of clean sheets, making six total saves in the two contests.
Transfer-forward
Alfie Snow (Middlesbrough, England / R-FR) has been terrific as of late, scoring three goals in his last three games.
Picked to finish fourth in the Preseason CCC Coaches' Poll, the Saints will look to build off of an impressive 2023 campaign that saw them stun the majority of the league.
First touch in the Men's game is scheduled for roughly 3 p.m.

The Carroll Volleyball team (10-2, 0-1) welcome the conference's highest-rated team, the No. 13 Bulldogs (9-2, 1-0) to the PE Center, aiming to pick up their first Frontier Conference win since 2022.
The Saints remained in the receiving votes category of the NAIA Coaches' Poll this week after their loss to No. 15 Providence last Friday, showing that they have grabbed the attention of the country with their hot start to the 2023 season.
Julia Carr (Portland, Ore. / GR) sits at No. 2 in the NAIA in digs per set (6.73), continuing to prove she is one of the best defenders in the nation.
Both Heuiser sisters, Lauren (Helena, Mont. / SO) and Elizabeth (Helena, Mont. / R-JR), enter the match averaging more than 3 points per set (Lauren - 3.14, Liz - 3.00), and are leading the team in Kills with 105 and 104, respectfully.
First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m., and tickets are available at the door.
