HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Men's Soccer team will play a pair of games in California this weekend, beginning with Life Pacific at 11 a.m. on Friday, and Westcliff at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The Fighting Saints (0-1-1) will look for their first official win of the season this weekend, squaring off with some unconventional opponents in sunny California.
Friday morning at 11 a.m., the Men will take on the Warriors (1-1) of Life Pacific in San Dimas, Calif. Life Pacific enters the game coming off of a 5-0 loss to Cal Tech on Wednesday.
On Sunday evening, the Saints will play Warriors of a different variety, those from Westcliff (3-1) at 6 p.m. Westcliff enters the game a three-game win-streak, outscoring opponents 8-1 in the span.
The Carroll Men, while winless, are no strangers to slow starts. Last season, the Saints were also a little sluggish out of the gates before going on a tear through the back-end of September and the month of October en route to a fourth-place finish in the CCC standings.
