HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Women's Soccer team will look to continue their great start to 2023, facing Bushnell in a CCC matchup at 3 p.m. in Eugene, Ore.
The Fighting Saints (6-0-1, 3-0) are off to one of their best starts in recent history, and will look to keep things rolling against the Beacons (2-3, 1-1).
After a 3-0 conference start, Carroll enter's today's game as the reigning CCC Under Armour Team of the Week. The Saints, picked seventh in the CCC Preseason poll, are currently tied with College of Idaho atop the CCC leaderboard.
Another CCC recognition was doled out to Carroll this week as well.
Emily Funseth (Great Falls, Mont. / SR) was named CCC Offensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row.
The Saints are heavily out-shooting their opponents through seven games, and will look to continue the pressure this afternoon in Eugene. Carroll is scoring five times as many goals as their opponents in the early portion of the year (CC 15, opponents 3).
The Beacons enter this weekend having won their last game, a 1-0 victory over Oregon Tech last weekend in Klamath Falls.
