HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Soccer teams, both sitting in second place in league standings, will host the top team, College of Idaho, this afternoon at Nelson Stadium.

After a pair of 3-1 victories over Eastern Oregon yesterday afternoon, the Carroll Soccer teams wil each get their shot at upending the Yotes for the first time in conference play this season.

The Carroll Men (5-2-2, 5-1-1) are off to their best league start in program history.

First year Head Coach, Austin Shick, has the Saints playing at an extremely high level over the past month, and Carroll finds themselves sitting at No. 2 in the CCC standings.

The College of Idaho (7-1-2, 6-0-1) has yet to be beaten in league play, but enter today's game off of a 1-1 tie yesterday at Providence.

Carroll has the opportunity to trip up the Yotes and grab their first ever share of the CCC lead in the month of October.

This afternoon's Women's match has been voted as the CCC Match of the Week, and is sure to live up to the hype.

The (RV) Carroll Women (8-0-2, 5-0-1) have yet to suffer a loss in 2023, and have the chance to give No. 16 College of Idaho (10-1-1, 6-0) their first CCC loss and a share of the top spot in the conference.

Today's game will certainly be Carroll's biggest test of the season, as a very experienced Yotes squad have outscored their opponents 21-1 in league play this season.

Carroll showed that they are able to withstand the press in yesterday's 3-1 win over EOU, and will look to repeat the performance today in Nelson Stadium.

The Men's game will kick off at 2 p.m., with the Women's game scheduled to start around 4 p.m.
