HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Women's Soccer team will play the Providence Women in a twice-rescheduled match this afternoon at 1 p.m. in Great Falls.
The Providence Men have forfeit their scheduled match with the Carroll Men, and the Saints will be awarded a 1-0 victory to finish their regular season in fourth place in the CCC standings.
The Fighting Saints (10-1-4, 7-1-3) will look to finally complete their 2023 regular season after today's contest with the Argos (2-11-2, 1-8-2) was pushed back due to a late-October snowstorm that blanketed much of the state.
The Carroll Women have already beaten the Argos once this season, a 3-0 shutout in a non-conference match between the two at Nelson Stadium in early-September.
The Saints have locked themselves into the second seed heading into next week's Cascade Collegiate Conference postseason tournament, but will be looking to finish the season strong and carry a bit of momentum into the championship.
A one-loss Carroll team is on the verge of completing one of the best regular seasons in program history, and will look to close it out with a win over in-state rival Providence.
Today's game will kick off at 1 p.m., with the Men's game having been forfeited, and will be streamed live
