BILLINGS, Mont. - The No. 11 Carroll College Women's Basketball team will look to secure the outright Frontier Conference lead this afternoon when they square off with RV Rocky Mountain College at 2 p.m. in Billings, Mont.
The Fighting Saints (12-4, 3-0) battled back from an early deficit on Thursday in Butte to keep their Frontier record clean, and will look to continue that trend this afternoon, facing Rocky Mountain College (11-4, 3-0) in a rematch of last year's Frontier Conference Championship.
Carroll's
Jamie Pickens (Helena, Mont. / SR) has been on a roll as of late. The preseason Frontier Conference Co-Player of the Year selection has averaged 20.8 points per game over her last four.Â
Rocky's Mackenzie Dethman is leading the conference in three point percentage, shooting nearly 50 percent from beyond the arc (47.1).
The Battlin' Bears are 9-1 over their last 10 games, while the Saints enter the contest on a six-game win streak.
