HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll Soccer teams are in Washington this weekend for a pair of matches with Evergreen State on Friday, and Northwest on Saturday.

No strangers to traveling West, the Saints are back on the road this weekend as they continue their quest for a berth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference postseason.

The Carroll Women (6-1-3, 3-0-1) are off to a good start on the year, largely in part to Blair Stapleton (Billings, Mont. / SR) and her program record four consecutive CCC Offensive Player of the Week awards to start the year. While Stapleton's 11 goals have certainly been a factor in the early season success, the Saints are getting production across the board, and the team is playing well as a unit. Goalkeeper Sarah Conway (Belt, Mont. / SR) has not been bothered much in recent games, with the Carroll defenders shutting down opportunities quickly.

On the Men's side, Head Coach Doug Mello has been tinkering with the lineup, trying to find the optimal unit out on the pitch. In Sunday's 2-1 loss to Multnomah, the Saints (2-4-1, 1-3) saw a glimpse into the future, as Phillip Camacho (Bullhead City, Ariz. / Fr) scored a beautiful header on the assist from another Freshman, Joseph Satterthwaite (Las Vegas, Nev.). 

Both the Men and the Women will square off with Evergreen State this afternoon in Olympia, Wash. The Carroll Women will play Evergreen State (0-5-2, 0-3-1) at 1:30 p.m., and the men will play the Geoducks (3-4, 2-2) following at 3:30 p.m. Live stats for the Women are available HERE, and the Men HERE.

On Sunday, the Carroll Women will take on Northwest (7-0-2, 3-0-1) on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., and the Men will play the Eagles (3-4-2, 1-2-1) following that match at 3:30 p.m. A live stream and stats for those games can be viewed HERE.
