SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Carroll Women's Basketball team will continue dancing on Thursday afternoon as they take on Morningside College in the round of 16 at the Tyson Events Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. mountain time.
 
The Saints entered the tournament as the number three seed in the Naismith Bracket and opened their run in New Orleans last weekend. They beat Lindsey Wilson 69-50 in the round of 64, then turned around the next day and edged out Loyola 65-59. Carroll's record heading into the final site is 27-7.
 
Morningside (Iowa) entered as the number two seed in the Naismith Bracket following an exceptional season. The Mustangs dropped their first two games of the year before rattling off 29 wins in their next 32 games. They hosted one of the opening rounds in Sioux City last weekend and beat Iowa Wesleyan 94-71 and St. Francis 85-72.
 
The winner of Thursday's game will advance on to the quarterfinal round and face the winner of top-seed Southeastern (Fla.) and 12-seed Bethel (Tenn.) on Saturday at 12 p.m. mountain time.
