Liz Heuiser Named NAIA Honorable Mention All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) have announced the 2022 NAIA Women's Volleyball All-Americans, Coach of the Year, Player of the Year, Attacker of the Year, Setter of the Year and Defender of the Year. Carroll's Elizabeth Heuiser has been named as an Honorable Mention All-American.

All of the selections are made by the All-America Committee which comprised a first, second, third and honorable mention teams. 

Elizabeth Heuiser (Helena, Mont. / SO / MH) has been named an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American for the first time in her career. The Sophomore finished the season second in the Frontier Conference in kill per set (3.05), third in total kills (345), and fourth in hitting percentage (.238). She also finished the year with 95 total blocks (26 solo, 69 assisted).

Heuiser was a First Team All-Frontier Conference selection in 2022, and was recently selected to the AVCA NAIA All-Northwest Region team.

The last Carroll Volleyball player to appear on the list was Taelyr Krantz, a Third Team selection in 2021.
