HELENA, Mont. - The (RV) Carroll Volleyball team will have one last homestand before a lengthy road trip, kicking off a busy Homecoming week with a pair of matches, hosting Montana Tech on Thursday and Montana Western on Friday evening. Both games will start at 7 p.m. in the Carroll College PE Center.

Coming off of a pair of wins last week against Frontier newcomers Mayville State and Valley City State, the Fighting Saints (9-6, 4-3) will look to keep the momentum rolling against a pair of their oldest rivals in the Orediggers and Bulldogs.

Montana Tech has had a string of recent success against Carroll in the series, winning each of the last six contests. They will enter Thursday night's contest in the opposite direction of Carroll, however, coming in on a two-game skid. The Orediggers are one of three Frontier teams ranked inside of the NAIA Top-25, checking in at No. 19 ahead of the rivalry game.

The Saints officially went 2-1 over Montana Western last season, including a three set sweep in the first meeting at the PE Center nearly a year ago to the date. Western had a great run in the NAIA national tournament, advancing to the quarterfinal round. The Bulldogs began the year at No. 11 in the nation, but have fallen out of the Poll following an up-and-down start.

Entering the week, Lauren Heuiser (Helena, Mont. / JR) is No. 2 in the conference with 129 kills on the season. Elizabeth Heuiser (Helena, Mont. / R-SR) is No. 5 in the league, averaging 1.10 blocks per set, and Jansyn Carrizales (Sunnyside, Wash. / JR) is No. 5 with 5.5 assists per set.
