HAVRE, Mont. - The No. 9 Carroll College Women's Basketball team earned their second Frontier Conference win of the season, beating MSU-Northern 68-49 on Saturday in Havre, Mont.

Carroll (6-3, 2-0) kept their Frontier Conference record clean on Saturday, utilizing a strong fourth quarter to beat MSU-Northern (3-4, 0-2), 68-49.

Kyndall Keller (Havre, Mont. / JR) made a splash in her return to her hometown for the first time as a Saint. The Junior transfer was lights out in the first quarter, going 5-6 from three point range for 15 points. The Saints, however, would only carry a 21-20 lead into the second quarter.

Defense was the theme of the second quarter, with both teams slowing down and Carroll seeing a more balanced offensive attack. Carroll would take a 37-32 lead into halftime.

The Skylights' Briaunna McCullough would score seven of the team's nine points in the third quarter, but Carroll would again outscore them and extend their lead to 51-41 heading into the final quarter.

The Saints would spread the ball around again in the fourth, limit the Skylight attack to just eight points in the quarter, and pick up a 68-49 win.

Keller finished tied with McCullough for a game-high 24 points in her homecoming effort.

Jamie Pickens (Helena, Mont. / SR) had yet another double-double, scoring 14 and pulling down 12 rebounds for the Saints.

Kamden Hilborn (Clancy, Mont. / SR) backed up her outstanding Thursday performance with a near triple-double (eight points, seven rebounds, eight assists).

The Fighting Saints will now shift their focus to a road contest at No. 13 Lewis-Clark State on Friday in Lewiston, Idaho.
