Sadie Filius, a five-foot-six point guard out of Havre, Mont., signed her NAIA National Letter of Intent to join the Carroll family. Filius, who is headed into her senior year at Havre High School, has already seen more success than most through her first three seasons as a Blue Pony. In 2019 and 2021, Filius helped lead her team to Class A State Championships and totaled 18 points, eight rebounds, three steals and three assists in the 2021 state championship game. She was also voted first team all-conference and all-state in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Filius will also compete in track and field at Carroll. In her high school career, she has finished as the runner up in the 300-meter hurdles and the 4x400-meter relay at the Class A State Track and Field Meet. Sadie, daughter of Scott and Kim Filius, is a 4.0 student and a member of the National Honors Society. She will study math with an emphasis in engineering when she arrives on campus in the fall of 2022.
