WHITEFISH, Mont. – The Frontier Conference announced Wednesday the coaches choices for the 2022-23 Preseason Players of the Year and All-Conference teams. Three Carroll College student-athletes have been selected.
Jamie Pickens (Helena, Mont. / SR) was named as Co-Frontier Conference Preseason Player of the Year. Pickens will share the honor with Montana Western senior Brynley Fitzgerald.
Caleb Bellach, Montana Tech junior is the men's basketball coaches choice as the Frontier Conference 2022-23 Preseason Men's Basketball Player of the Year.
Carroll also has one player on each of the Men's and Women's Preseason All-Conference Teams. Sienna Swannack (Nine Mile Falls, Wash. / SR) and Brendan Temple (Castle Rock, Colo. / SR) were both selected as preseason honorees.
The preseason all-conference teams were selected by the league's coaches who were not allowed to vote for their own players. After the preseason Player of the Year, the preseason all-conference team is listed in alphabetical order by player's school.
