HELENA, Mont. – The Carroll Women's Basketball team returns home on Thursday for a 5 p.m. battle with No. 25 Montana Western.
 
Last week, the Saints suffered a road loss at Providence before bouncing back over the weekend with a 60-34 win at MSU-Northern. Coming into this week, the No. 6 Fighting Saints are 16-4 on the year with a conference record of 4-2.
 
Montana Western, on the other hand, is in a bit of a tough stretch as of late. Last week, they went on the road to Rocky Mountain College and lost that game 80-45 before taking a covid forfeit for Saturday's game at Montana Tech. Their record is now 12-6 overall and 2-4 in conference play.
 
Earlier this season, the Saints and Bulldogs met in Dillon. Carroll won that game 60-49 and they now hold a six-game winning streak against Western, including last year's Frontier Conference Tournament Championship game.
